I.         BY SHOWING OUR LOVE FOR THEM; Romans 12:10

            A.        A Command from God; John 13:34; I John 3:23

            B.        Christians must be sincere in their love; I John 3:18

            C.        True Christians continue to love in spite of circumstances; Hebrews 13:1; I Thessalonians 3:12

II.         BY CAUTIOUSLY DEALING WITH THE FAULTS OF OTHERS:

            A.        All people including Christians have faults; Psalm 19:12-14

            B.        Confess faults one to others; I John 1:9

            C.        Those stronger, spiritually, are to help the weak; Galatians 6:1

III.        BY AVOIDING GOSSIP ABOUT OTHERS:

            A.         Must recognize the evils of gossip; Proverbs 16:27-28; 17:9; 18:8

            B.         God’s children must not speak evil of one another; I Peter 2:1

            C.         Gossip is of the Devil: to be avoided; Proverbs 20:19

                        1.          Causes division; Romans 16:17

                        2.          Gossip and related sins; Proverbs 6:16-19

IV.        BY MINISTERING TO THEM:

            A.          Visit the sick; Matthew 25:35

            B.          Help the needy; James 1:27

            C.          Sympathizing with those in sorrow; Romans 12:15

            D.         Encourage the weak; I Thessalonians 5:14-15; Galatians 6:2

V.         THROUGH PRAYER AND FORGIVENESS:

            A.         Christ is our example of forgiveness; Luke 22:34

            B.         Forgiving others a prerequisite to being forgiven; Matthew 6:14-15

            C.         God’s forgiveness is limitless, to the penitent; Matthew 18:21-22

             D.        Prayer is an asset in our forgiving others; Ephesians 6:18

CONCLUSION:

             A.         Christ died for all; John 12:32

             B.          He requires obedience in those who desire salvation; II Thessalonians 1:7-9

             C.          Getting along with others is a part of God’s plan for the Christian; Romans 12:18; Galatians 6:2
